Have a look on sourceforge.net for some freeware games, some are really good (eleventy billion times better than most commecial games)

if you like puzzle type adventure games you should defiantly take a look at portal(clicky) (http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/portal/index.html), it's a really fun first person puzzle type game that is unique to anything i have ever played. As for adventure take a look at S.T.A.L.K.E.R and Grand theft Auto. There is one more really good adventure game that starts with a "o", its right in the tip of my toung, its really populare but i cant just remember it.

warcraft three age of mythology are great games, i do NOT suggest world of warcraft. you can get addicted really easily ( i know from past expirence) and it affects alot because all you want to do is play

k good. its really really hard to get off of wow. its like a drug to me i havent played in 2 years and i kinda want to start again but theres no way in hell id let myself do that. also you can go to addictinggame.com which has some fun games to play on there :P i think everyone named all the good games i have heard of
