The eurozone has given Greece until Thursday to present new proposals to secure a deal with creditors, and has called for a full EU summit for Sunday.

Greece doesn't have anything to lose. They either don't repay a single cent or they get far more favorable terms. It's unlikely they will be kicked out of the Eurozone because the majority of their debt comes from the Bank of Europe and if Greece leaves the Eurozone, the debt goes away, on both sides. I say stab the banker pig-dogs where it hurts!

if Frau Merkel was the right kind of strong leader I'd be totally okay with this
though after last year's Eurovision idk, she might actually grow a real mustache

I cant see this ending any way, but badly. Greece can tell the EU to get fucked as much as they want but the bottom line is they have no money and they're still going to need to negotiate some kind of rescue package.

I heard they got a rescue package from Russia on far more favorable terms.
