Not being mean but how would you know if someone is gay? Because my friend Stephen, he always seems to get really happy whenever i pass by him :D I don't think hes gay but Im not totally sure.

Perhaps he just considers you a good friend and is happy to see you? *shrugs* To answer your question, it's near impossible to tell for sure whether a person is gay unless they tell you. Obviously, if you say your friend making out with another guy, it would be a strong indicator but, even then, once should not assume things. I think you need to relax a bit, and see how things go. If he brings up the subject, well, you'll find out. You could bring up the subject yourself, but you risk making things awkward; a lot of people would feel weird if their friend randomly asked them, "So, are you gay?" So, my advice is just to not worry about it. if he is gay, he'll tell you when he's ready.
