Conventional wisdom is that orgasm/ejaculation are reflex actions so when you get to the point of no return you can't stop. Certainly it is true if you feel you have reached the point of no return and then decide to stop, by then it is too late. On the other hand if by co-incidence you had stopped moments before reaching that point one can have an ejaculation without the orgasm or even a half-hearted ejaculation.

I guess that depends on what you think the purpose of masturbating is. For me it is a way to experience intense pleasure while at the same time kurbing my horniness and thus letting me concentrate on other things. If you ejaculate, even without orgasm, it is likely to deal with the horniness even if you don't get the intense pleasure. I think the best you can do to rescue the situation is as soon as you realise this has started to happen start stroking again and seee if you can get the orgasm too. Even if it is not intense it is still better than none at all.

It's happened to me. What I do is this. Stop jerking for 5-10 minutes and go for it again... What will happen will amaze you.
