Do you ever wish you can turn back the clock to a particular time in your life where you were really happy compared to how you are feeling as of right now?

No. Never. I've still got some issues from the past. But I think I have never been as happy as I am now. Im not happy every day obviously. But more happy in general, definitely.

I'd love to go back to a time when I came from a loving home, not a broken one.

Would rather go forward in time and move on.

I'm not sure. Yes, I would like to go back to the time when I was genuinely happy but my hardships really have made me into who I am today and I wouldn't want to give that up

I'm not really sure if I'd wanna go back. Yes there are some things I'd love to go back and do again but there's a lot of really bad shit that went on in my life then too :/
I think I'll just stay in the present.

No I don't think so. Every good and bad thing I experience has an impact in some or the other way. By going back to a good period I would lose out on all the experiences I've had since that have made me evolve and shaped my life. I don't exactly despise the bad times because I think everything I experience teaches me a lesson.

Hell yes. If I could control other people, I'd do that too.

Yes I do. I wish I could go back and change things all the time. Change them to things I know would work so I wouldn't have to deal with this pain but I already fucked up and I can't change it...guess I have to live with it

Not really because its been a long road to get to here where im depressed but its not taking over my life as it once was. To be completely happy i would have to go back exactly 2 years and 8 months

I'm pretty content about where I am today. Whatever struggles I've had in the past have helped form me into what I am today. Things aren't perfect but I'll take what I have.

This is an excellent response in my opinion. Avoiding the problem by going back to feel some sort of good emotions doesn't solve anything or even help, really(it would be cool, but wouldn't help me probably). The reason for this is that we would see and understand the flaws in our younger selves which we then could not understand. This would cause us to struggle even harder with those problems. It only makes matters worse.

Going forward in time would allow you to perhaps see that it gets better. Or, it could show bad. If it shows good, then it's inspiring you that it gets better. If it shows bad, then you'll feel bad for yourself for doing those things in the future and you will make an attempt to change them in the present.
