View Full Version : Best Underwear Ever!

So, I just got this new underwear, and it is the best underwear that I have ever owned hands down. They are super duper soft which is good and bad. Good because they are soft, but bad because they tend to ride up the legs a little bit, but it is almost unnoticeable because the material is so thin. But the best part is that there is a separate pouches for the "boys" and a slot/pouch for the "Big Boy". Now, it seems weird at first, but it is amazing, keeps everything separated and airy on those hot, humid days. And another thing is that the slot for the "Big Boy" kinda pushes outward, making your bulge seem quite larger (pro or con?). Also, the "pee trap" is much more accessible compared to any other style, this one opens horizontally and doesn't require any "snaking".

I am not promoting this underwear in any certain way, I just wanted to let people know about them...

http://www.amazon.com/David-Archy-Separate-Pouches-Trunks/dp/B00ENTH0N4

IDK if I can link them, but I did, it is just from Amazon.com, so delivery went perfecto.

Suggest purchasing yourself a pair, and they run kinda large, so I would suggest going down a size if anything, also sizing down makes everything fit better within the "compartments".

26 for 4 pair isnt bad. esp if they are as high quality as they look. if your used to just buying hanes or fruit of the loom I can understand, but modal is an amazing material for underwear. you get what you pay for and there is sometimes a reason when underwear cost more. it can be made better

Hmm I guess you're right there; they do seem like pretty good quality, so I may be tempted to grab myself a pack one day...

I know it is roughly 6.50 a pair and it may seem like a lot, but for quality underwear it is not bad. a pair at American Eagle, Hollister, etc, cost as much if not more. Like I said if the quality turns out to be bad then it is not worth it. but if it is good quality, it will last longer (saving money), feel better, and look better (which if your in a relationship, it is always nice for your partner to see you in nice underwear)

$6.50 isnt much at all, really. AE or A&F or Aeropostale are about $7-9 or more, and are really just cheap cotton with a different label and imprint, and are no more comfortable than Hanes. I've never had modal, but I'd try it because its more absorbent than cotton and I've heard its softer. Soft is always nice for underwear.

Now if they would just put different colors, or bright colors or make designs... 4 of one color is kind of boring. And heh... they'd have to be trunks, or briefs.

I agree, the price seems reasonable compared to UA compression shorts, comfort is highest priority

But u say more absorbent than cotton, didn't say anything about how fast they dry, anyone know or see anything about that?

haha well they do say trunks although they are a little more like boxer briefs. I like the more traditional trunk as well. but modal is such an amazing feel to it. I love the material

it is not too bad really. I never timed it, but they don't take too long. if you never tried modal, go for it. you don't have to buy the ones in this link, but I would recommend the material for sure

they look good, and i would trust sethfomtmi that they fit well and the cost is worth it.

I prefer Calvin Klein briefs, pretty pricy but incredibly soft and the fit is great.

They're ok. I'm not an underwear specialist or anything, but I will agree with you, they are more comfortable and noticeably softer, u also like the room it has in front

Yeah for the price, they are extremely comfortable. Definitely much more comfortable than wearing those heavy, cotton American Eagle underwear. As for the price, they are separately cheaper than any pair of American Eagle.

They dry much quicker because the material is so soft and light (breathable).

I agree with you on the colors, but for the designs, that would only add on extra cost. And those that I linked were trunks. In the pictures they are pulled down and the model doesn't move much. I have been wearing them and they bunch up a little bit (to the height of a normal trunk), but they don't ride up all the way to get uncomfortable.

The link that I put up there are to trunks. In the pictures they look like they are boxer brief length, but once you put them on and start moving around they get less tight (not holding onto your skin, but they start to ripple and bunch up a little). They don't bunch up to an uncomfortable stage though, just to a stage where you can move your legs freely and not having the material moving every second. So they are more like trunks than boxer briefs.

Compared to Under Armour Compression shorts they have a similar material feel, except the David Archy Trunks are much, much thinner! So they obviously aren't as tight as compression shorts, but they are 20x more airy than UA. One of the main differences is that UA compression shorts obviously have your junk packed down. The David Archy Trunks... well, make your bulge more pronounced. So wearing thin athletic shorts with the David Archy may be kinda difficult if you are well endowed.

But overall, I would much rather prefer David Archy's Trunks compared to Under Armour's Compressions Shorts.

compared to hanes or fruit of the loom maybe. but, when you take the price, each individual pair is cheaper than what you would pay at American Eagle. $6 or so a pair for a QUALITY pair of underwear is not bad at all

I would get them in the size you normally wear. They feel a lot more snug than standard boxer briefs, but they are supposed to.
