Still being a virgin, my knowledge of condoms and condom choosing is a major fail. So, I have some questions...... (PS this is all USA based..... if that matters)
1) What is the penis size considered to be regular fit?
2) What is the penis size considered to be large (ex needing magnums)?
3 (If this isn't allowed, please delete), What is a good style/brand to choose because I've looked in the condom section and theres just too many to choose from!
4) Is it "normal" to buy condoms and use them as "practice" while jerking?
5) Am I the only one that gets an awkward feeling when looking at the condom section lol?

Condoms stretch. A lot. Regular fit fits most guys. I am 6.75 hard, and probably 1.25-1.5" across (looking down), and I use regular. Magnums are more for guys that are really really thick. If you're between sizes, you use the smaller of the two, so that its not loose at all.
I like Lifestyles. But really, it doesnt matter what brand, as long as they havent expired yet. If you cum quickly, get a thick one. If you last a long time, get a thin one. I think brand is less important than other things. But some guys I am sure will disagree with me.....
The best way to practice putting them on is on yourself, so that you have the right point of view as you do it. I was taught to use them during masturbation as practice. My sister had to learn to put one on a banana, since she didnt have a penis to do it on, and the girls viewpoint of course is different. You can only put it on once, so even if its just practice, its a one-time-use, so enjoy using it, lol. Plus, by jerking off with it, you understand if it fits right or if you pulled it too far down, or if it snags your pubes, all that stuff. It might take a few to get it right.
I've never really browsed the condoms section. Glanced at it, noticed if there are flavored ones (not sure why, lol) ... but never bought them or spent a lot of time on it. But most guys are probably uncomfortable browsing the condoms at the store, esp in the USA. Its another one of those things that people do but dont talk about.
A lot of agencies give them out free. Planned parenthood, LGBT centers, Disease testing centers, some clinics, even some schools. So you could get a couple of different samples and actually try different sizes and stuff.

1) Regular fit will be a good fit for an averag size penis while erect
2) if regular size is to small use magnum
3) latex provides the best protection as compared to animal skin etc, pre-lubed is also good, some are lubed with spermicide which helps reduce risk of pregnancy, ribbed adds more pleasure for, both partners
4) yes it's very normal, but a few small packs of different things and practice, that way you know what works for,you and have fun with it
5) we all get awkward, but im sure it goes away the more you do it and become more confident in urself
I'm always freaked out by it hahaha...
Forgot to add that when putting it on, make sure you leave a little extra at the tip to catch what you spill, or it could break

1) What is the penis size considered to be regular fit? I think 7in and below for regular fit
2) What is the penis size considered to be large (ex needing magnums)? I think anything 8in and above for magnums
3 (If this isn't allowed, please delete), What is a good style/brand to choose because I've looked in the condom section and theres just too many to choose from! I use trojan and Lifestyles, but you have to find one that works best for you
4) Is it "normal" to buy condoms and use them as "practice" while jerking? I dont know if its normal or not, but it is pretty common
5) Am I the only one that gets an awkward feeling when looking at the condom section lol? No, I get an awkward feeling, too - especially if my mom is around - hahahaha

Your penis girth determines what size of condoms you need.
Length does not matter too much. If yours is long you might not be able to roll it over your whole penis but it still fits and sits fine. If yours is short you simply dont roll it off completely ;)
Standard width is something like 53mm (2.1'') this really fits most guys. But if necessary there are other condom sizes available too.
I find this link helpful: condom o meter (http://www.lass.org.uk/files/uploads/size-o-meter_pdf.pdf)
My favorite are MySize condoms. They come in many sizes :D

1 & 2. Most folks fit into regular sized condoms, and start out with one of those to see if they work. Unless you have a penis the size of a Pringles can, then you will not need a Magnum condom. Just go with the regular sized condom first.
3. Personally, I would go with Trojans since those are very durable. Condoms are only good if you follow the instructions, and make sure you read through the instructions so that the condom does not break during sex.
4. It is totally normal to buy condoms and use them for practice for jerking off. It is best that you do that rather than jumping into sex not using the condom properly.
5. It can be awkward looking at the condom section especially when there are others around. However, most people would rather see you using a condom than to get a girl pregnant or to come home with a STD. Remember, self checkouts are your friends.
As someone else mentioned, unless you or your partner have a latex allergy, then you are best getting regular sized, latex condoms. Also, make sure you purchased lubricated condoms because the unlubricated ones can be uncomfortable. Purchasing some lube is something you should do, too, because you will need a lot of it for your first time having sex. Never use oils or creams as lube because that can break down the condom causing it to slip off or come apart.

1) What is the penis size considered to be regular fit? Not sure exactly but I use normal. I'm 7"
2) What is the penis size considered to be large (ex needing magnums)? Don't know. 9" maybe.?
3 (If this isn't allowed, please delete), What is a good style/brand to choose because I've looked in the condom section and theres just too many to choose from! Just choose original. No need for all the fancy types.
4) Is it "normal" to buy condoms and use them as "practice" while jerking? Yeah I have before
5) Am I the only one that gets an awkward feeling when looking at the condom section lol? I wouldn't say I get awkward. I find it kinda funny when older people look a little shocked when I pick up condoms from the shelf. Especially the look on the cashiers face when I buy them

I've been given a few condoms from a friend at school as a joke, we joke about using them and that they'll expire before I ever use it but, but I have used it by practising and I don't like the feel of it on my dick, much prefer skin, of course I'll have to get used to it for protection, I think mine were regular, most common condoms are regular, I like the natural feel condoms if I was to recommend x

1) What is the penis size considered to be regular fit? Condoms should be measured according to your girth because thats what holds it on. The length is less important because it doesnt always have to be rolled out. I read that it has to stretch between 10-20% when you put it on, enough to stay on but not too tight to cause discomfort or break. For example a 53mm condom (regular size) should be good for girths between 4.5 and 5 inches.
2) What is the penis size considered to be large (ex needing magnums)? Large condoms arent really that large. They are mostly a marketing scam. You don't have to be very endowed to wear them. I have a 5.4 inch girth and only a 6 inch length but I wear large condoms because they fit me better.
3 (If this isn't allowed, please delete), What is a good style/brand to choose because I've looked in the condom section and theres just too many to choose from! Most brands in stores are all good. I prefer thinner ones for more sensation and special ones like ribbed or flavored for the girl. I also prefer flared ones because straight ones are too tight at the head. I like to buy them online. I usually get samples of different brand and styles to try them out and switch things up a bit. I really like the Kimono condoms because they are super thin.
4) Is it "normal" to buy condoms and use them as "practice" while jerking? Not at all. you should practice, that way you'll be ready when you have sex.
5) Am I the only one that gets an awkward feeling when looking at the condom section lol? No you're not but I got used to it. But now that I buy my condoms online, theres no problem anymore.
Still being a virgin, my knowledge of condoms and condom choosing is a major fail.
You should try a few brands, styles and types to see what you like best. Get something that fits but also that is comfortable. What is your length and girth? maybe I can help you find the right size.

Plenty others have commented but id just like to highlite that smaller is better than larger because you dont want it to slip off, condoms are also easy to get a prescription for so ask your dr and you can get 100 trustworthy ones from a pharmacy for $5, and pre lubed helps in a pinch.
