I don't understand why

As I slip in and out of this depression that's been going for about 5 months now I came to see why doesn't anyone else understand my thought unless they're depressed like me? Why can't they? Like my parents can't understand why I got so upset of this girl and they can't understand why it took so long to start feeling and why I thought the things I thought. They all seemed right in my mind. To other people on vt it made sense but to other people it didn't. Why?

When youre depressed youre producing less serotonin in your brain so it can alter your train of thought. This means that your thoughts will be different to usual because your brain is essentially going to act different due to a lack of serotonin that was there before.

Someone who isnt depressed will have a regular amount of serotonin so they wont understand your actions or way of thinking becauss their brain is behaving differently. If they havent had depression they wont know how you act differently when suffering with it.

Hope this explains it a bit, they simply havent experienced it so dont understand your thinking.
