First, swallowing is swallowing... The cup is just cleaner.

When I started shooting more, I made sure to have toilet paper really and more of it. It's more distracting to have to run and grab some than to just have it there.

From a health perspective the only problem would be if you don't wash the cup. Your semen is still your semen and at the point you ejaculate it, it is safe to eat/drink. If you didn't bother to wash the cup then that would give a chance for it to pick up pathogens. If you want to use the cup I'd just wash it each time the same way you would anything else you eat/drink from.

From the perspective of "does this cross a line" the cup doesn't really change anything. It still doesn't hurt anyone else so it's still fine to do. Most guys taste their semen at least once, some then eat/drink it occasionally thereafter and a few go on to eat/drink it regularly. You shouldn't worry about how common or not it is to do this, if you enjoy it, or find it practical, that's all that matters.

There have been times I have aimed into something and the orgasm still feels good but I definitely prefer not having to worry about aim - I feel like I just completely give in to the orgasm and enjoy it to the max. For me cumming on my chest/stomach satisfies that - it's a pretty big area so I don't have to worry.

I do prepare by having whatever I will wipe up with to hand but I can do that before I start so it isn't distracting at the critical moment.

I wouldn't worry too much about whether other people do something similar - it is a case of what works for you. I also wonder if there is an element of delay. I know I have sometimes thought about eating my cum while I was jacking but once I have cum the idea no longer appeals. In my case I can, if I want to, grab a quick taste before I have finished cumming so maybe anything that introduces extra delay gives time for your horniness to depart and for you to no longer feel like it.

There is nothing wrong with swallowing it from the cup but I would find my hand a lot more efficient. I don't shoot consistently and because I only dribble I don't have to worry about having something ready to clean up with.

I'm still at the dribbling stage but shooting rarely and swallowing from the cup doesn't make a difference I would say do it in the shower it'll be way easier
