In the past like two months I have recently grown a significant amount of armpit hair, and I'd like to know if there is any good ways to remove it at home? I am shirtless around family a lot and it's quite awkward if I'm lying on my back with my hands behind my head or something...

I guess you just gotta get used to it! Unless it's really bothering you.. But I haven't heard of people removing armpit hair that often

It is awkward but you'll get used to it.It's a really a sign of masculinity,it's more feminine to shave there usually but you can if you want. You have to trim them first if you want to shave them unless you want sores there.Use a shaving gel or cream during and use aftershave gel or cream after shaving to moisturize the area.

Sores alert!!
Here's my advice, don't shave it, seriously, it iches badly.. You'll get used to it, and I'm sure others around you already did get used to seeing you. Not seeing you with armpit hair at your age would be even more awkward. Stay masculine ;)

Trim it a little is the best options. It tidies it up and you won't get sores.
Personally most girls seem to prefer it that way from my experience.

If you want to remove your armpit hair, then I would use a body hair groomer or a beard trimmer both of which can do a pretty good job of either removing or trimming your hair.
It can be awkward to suddenly go from being hairless to hairy over a short time, and a lot of us were self conscious when that had happened. If your family is making fun of you because you have hair, then they're clueless because nearly all guys get hair. I would not worry about their reaction because getting hair is a fact of life.
You can also use a disposable razor, too, to remove your armpit hair, but be careful especially if you have never shaved before.

If your parents know that you have armpit hair now then it would be awkward if you shaved it because they'd know that you had done it and might even mention it. If they've seen it and haven't mentioned it then I don't see the point in shaving it.

I am only 14 years old and I started growing pit hair when i was only 10 now it is like a forest. I even have more than my father! Although I think it looks sexy on a guy like me many other peers think it kind of absurd that I have so much. Any thoughts? THE PICTURE IS FROM WHEN I WAS 12!

I remember when I was 12 and I was trying any possible way to get rid of all the hairs (armpit + pubes) while using scissors down there, I ended up cutting near the upper pelvic area and decided to give it up. I now just let all my hairs grow. And there is the occasional dropping of hair in the shower from both armpit and pubes. But don't worry you'll get used to them.

I've started to grow some within the last year. It's a bit embarrassing a first, but now it doesn't bother me

I don't shave mine. I shave a lot of my hair, but that is an area I do not bother shaving

I shave my armpits once a week, just using a normal razor (of corse not the same that I'm shaving my face :P )... I just hate having anything in there...

You will get used to it.
I've never heard of any guys shaving/trimming it, but I guess people here show that some guys do.
