I want to end my current relationship, it's a year long relationship, serious stuff. But it's not what I want anymore. But my current girlfriend is going through a hard time with her friends leaving her and stuff like that and she is scared of change and doesn't want to lose anyone else especially me. I feel like I should wait until she's in a better place to break up with her. I don't know, any advice?

Somebody would say end it now. I would say, leave her when you think it will hurt the least.

honestly there is no good time to break up with someone and if i was you id would end it now instead of continuing a lie

This happened to me a couple of years ago. In the end I broke it off even though the time was difficult. If you wait until it's all better again that's almost more cruel. She'll just feel like her life is getting back on track and then it'll all fall apart again.

There's no reason you can't remain a supportive friend even if you do break up with her. Perhaps this is the best option- break up but remain there for her.

there really isn't. explain to her what is going on and let her know you can still be there as a friend (unless you don't want to have anything else to do with her)

I don't think you should force yourself to stay in a position in which you don't feel happy in. I was in a similar position and if you don't just get on with it then it can end up being months later and that just drags your own emotions down.
