When i was a kid i was raped by my uncle and because i was, sex to me has always been a part of who i was. I like sex because it not only provides a means of pleasure and escape but also happiness to others. Growing up i wasn't to sure about what i wanted to be until i finally decided. I know i am underage to start in the sex industry but i want to become a RentBoy, a Escort, a Stripper, a Go-Go Boy and eventually a Gay Porn Star by the age of 19 if not the latest 21. My 17th birthday is only 2 months away and already i am thinking about getting into the business not professional but*business* i have already been in contact with a couple of guys who have recognizable jobs that some know of here in the US such as part time radio host to a national syndicated radio show all the way to CEO of a big company who were looking to have a little fun.

So finally my question is whether or not the sex industry would be a good job or should i follow one of my goals to become and study cinematography and film production? Also how many of you have thought about working in the sex industry?

I do not look down on anyone working in the adult industry. It does give good pay, but if you worry about your reputation, it might not be the best.

I'm sure if you start, you can always quit and perhaps use that money to focus on your goals to study cinematography and film production.

I don't think it's a good idea for you. Your letting what happened to you take over your life. I think this will really affect you mentally

Sex is obviously very good for health but like everything, too much of it might have a huge negative impact to your body. Since, working in the industry involves sex as a job and hence, a really common occurrence in your life, I won't advise you to go into the sex industry.

well you might make good money. that being said it is not something I would recommend doing. it will be bad if you ever try to get out and if they find out what you been involved with, it will be hard to hold down a lot of jobs. higher chance of getting a disease. someone may not be happy with your services or want to keep you quiet and harm you. just don't do it

I don't know you in real life, so I can't say what kind of a career you should get into. I do not disrespect people in the sex industry, I don't think it is necessarily a bad choice.

But I always think of careers more as, not WHAT you do for a career, but WHY you do it.

If the WHY part is because its what you want to do more than anything else, go for it. But if filmmaking is what you want most, do that. Or something else entirely. Don't let the past, or emotions of the past, decide for you. Do what you do because you really want to and love to do it.

Like the is now, I was considering this career path a couple years ago, its a good backup plan, and that is how I recommend you look at it. Now, if this is really what you want to do , I suggest that when you are of legal age to do so, you start off doing cam shows or something first to test the waters.

Preferably, go into cinematography

It wouldn't be my first career choice.......

Honestly, I wouldn't rush in to being in the sex industry if I was you.. It's a pretty big risk towards your reputation and towards future career paths if you wanted them. I'd suggest waiting it out and making sure that's what you really want.

Difficulty landing jobs because of reputation of previous careers, is getting less and less of an issue.

I'd say if this really is something you want to do, go for it.

Since your end goal seems to be gay porn star, I assume your body and penis is decent?

In a technical sense I once whored myself out for bus money, so no, I wouldn't look down on people who did it, but I DON'T THINK IT'S A GOOD IDEA, BESIDES, (Caps lock can suck a dick, I refuse to retype that) to work in that industry you need basically the perfect body, most people don't have that.

Do your research on life expectancy, disease rates, suicide rate etc.
I can't imagine it's a very good idea long term

I am very aware of the diseases and life expectancy of getting an STD but as to the suicide rates i wasn't really aware of, i kinda knew some people will want to kill themselves because of Porn.
