So Im in this situation where my family thinks that my brother is the wonder child and im just like meg from Family guy. When he speaks everyone treats it like if they were listening to a speech from the president. Then when I speak everyone ignores or if theydo listen they interpret and respond if I have autism or if i was mentally handicapped. When he starts shit with me infront of my parents they actually support him and all turn against me. And when I respond so I can put him down in his place, mom and dad blow up like if I set the house on fire. Thats how pissed they get when I use a comeback against my brother even though he started saying everything and they backed up him up. They even go and bond with him and never include me in anything. They will all talk or watch a movie like a perfect family and im just left in my room listening to music. They dont even say to me "want to do this or that" they never say anything. I feel like im blocked out from the family. And the only time im actually needed is when they want me to do something they cant do. Eventually i just dont listen because they have someone else to help them. Btw he is 15, this would be understandable if he was like 11 or younger. Im just like fml right now though.

Believe me man, you're not alone. I'm a third child. My older brothers and younger brothers got plenty of attention growing up- I was the one thrown into school early, I was the one shuffled around the country, I was the designated babysitter, etc.

It gets better, I can promise you that. There will be times when it feels like nobody is with you, or even that everyone is against you, but you gotta remember that they're your family; your one and only. One day, when you need them, they'll be there for you just as you have been there for them.

Right now you just gotta do what you can, and do it right. Don't take any shortcuts. Don't beat yourself up and don't overburden yourself. Don't exhaust yourself worrying what they think about you, because despite what you do, they'll think what they think. Strive to be the best person you can be. Character is in the trying, and to try to do our best is all we can do when we have no support from even those closest to us. You don't have to be the best. Just try to be the best person you can be, for your sake.

I am sorry man. some families do not always appreciate all of their children. why, I'm not sure. if they are not going to appreciate or care about you, live with it as long as you have to, but when the time comes, cut them out of their life. if they really want you, let them come to you . I wish I could say it will get better but who knows. I do feel bad though for you man, family is not supposed to treat each other that way :(
