If you still insist on having a generalized view on this subject, then consider the possibility that girls are dating older guys instead of you because you spend your time complaining about girls not dating you.

Anyhow, I agree wholeheartedly with ClaraWho . Studies have shown that girls generally perform better than boys in school (here (http://www.apa.org/news/press/releases/2014/04/girls-grades.aspx) and here (http://www.nber.org/papers/w19331?utm_campaign=ntw&utm_medium=email&utm_source=ntw), just from a quick Google search) and are reported to mature faster (here (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/science/science-news/10529134/Girls-really-do-mature-quicker-than-boys-scientists-find.html) and here (https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/the-athletes-way/201312/scientists-identify-why-girls-often-mature-faster-boys), again from a quick Google search). In this context, I think girls looking at older guys are probably looking at people who are on a similar level of maturity. (Also, y'know, keep in mind that as much progress as we've made, traditional gender roles are still deeply ingrained in our collective subconscious; remember how adolescent girls would be married off to grown men back in the day? Yeah. Maybe we don't do that anymore, in certain countries and cultures anyway, but it would seem that some essence of the trend still holds, possibly for good reason, i.e., maturity.)

Generalizing and criticizing another sex that you don't seem to understand very well yet is mentally mature? Maybe girls aren't attracted to you because you seem to think so little of them. Start respecting girls (i.e., maybe look a little bit more into what feminism really is before you laugh at it) and maybe they'll start to think that you're mature and, thereby, attractive.
