Hi, I'm sorry if this isnt in the right section; but couldn't find one related to this!
Basically I am starting the Gym tomorrow! I want to loose my stomach weight but what is the best way to do it?
Also, what is the best thing to wear? I don't wanna look like a knob when there.

I think this is more relevant in this section.
There are a lot of good exercises you can do, but I wouldn't only focus on your stomach/gut. Focus on your overall fitness and you'll lose the weight you want as you go. Are you going with somebody who works out regularly or knows what he/she is doing? If not, I recommend going with somebody knowledgable for the first few times to get a feel for it and to learn the proper forms and exercises. There should also be gym employees there who can help and show you if you don't have anyone else to go with. When I go I do a split routine, meaning I'll focus on one or two body parts each time I go. One day I'll do back/biceps, the next I'll do chest/triceps, then legs, shoulders/abs. I generally sneak abs in the mix at least 3 days per week, and always make sure that I do 20-25 minutes of cardio on an elliptical machine after my workout is over.
As for what you should wear, gym shorts and a t shirt should be fine. Just made sure that you wear appropriate shoes. You don't want to hurt yourself, and some gyms are strict about footwear.

Mike's advice is spot on. You won't go wrong by following his suggestions.

Losing weight doesn't only come from the gym a lot of it starts at home with proper nutrition and portion control. I personally start and end every gym session with a little cardio to warm up and cool down your muscles. I also have one day dedicated to Cardio a week but my goals are slightly different than yours. a lot of what your routine looks like will depend on your goals in the gym are. what would you like to ultimately get out of going to the gym?

Mike gave some very good advice. I personally do my cardio before I start my weights and sometimes a quick cardio to finish out. but yea, Mike's advice is good.
proper eating is also important

If you're just trying to lose weight, then just do cardio, and very light weights for very high reps, but the gym is 30%, what you eat is 70%, I wouldn't be as strong as I am if I didn't make sure I ate enough, and got enough protein

Proper nutrition as previously stated as well as cardio (burns fat), also previously stated. Good luck

For losing weight, you need to do what others said and eat right and do cardio, but weight lifting is also very important. If you can put an inch on your shoulders, it will look like you took at least an inch off of your waist.
