Looking for maybe a few people to work together with to create something small. For practice and gaining more knowledge. We will be creating a web application, or a website for those of you who don't know.

I simply want to work together to create something small. Maybe we can publish it? Or not. I have been studying the fundamentals of programming for over 3 years now. Does that make me a good programmer? No it does not actually. I cant create the most advance website to date. However, what I do have down is the fundamentals. It is completely solid. I have studied, C, C++, JAVA, C#, HTML, CSS, PHP (some laravel, some twig), JavaScript, Ruby. There are many other languages that I have studied the fundamentals of, but not nearly as long as I have with my main languages.

I am open to any ideas at all: The point of collaboration, just like in schools, is to learn of each other. To bring something new to the drawing board. New ideas, new topics, new methods (or functions ;) if you understand), new knowledge. What I want to do Is collaborate with a group of individuals, to create something beautiful. My hope is that it will have a ton of errors (hopefully not graphic errors, but coding errors), so that we may collaborate and analyze the code to find the problem.

This part really depends on how I feel about installing this, since ive never used GIT before. It will be a new experience: The program I will most likely feature for collaboration is GIT. So that we may backup any files just in case a team member accidentally makes "too many errors".

If you are interested, just keep in mind you will be working with entry level - moderate level people based on their history programming, and based on how many people are interested in joining.

Thank you for your time!

I'm interested. I have extensive experience in html 5, css, php and MySQL.In addition to this I know python, c, c++,c#, java and a little visual basic. I've created loads of sites, mostly using bootstrap these days. I'll show you some of my work if you are interested in working with me. I'm not sure what you want to make, but am happy to do anything.

Yes, I have a plan set up already. That part is discussed of the thread, obviously because its meant for team planning. It will also require a few more members, particularly not so skilled. The point of this is to make errors and learn new techniques. It will also be slow paced. I am still in school, so I have to focus on that first. However, tomorrow is literally my last day :D.

I have a document set up with pseudo code I will share to you. It has a side plan following it. Is there a way to exchange contact details without my post being edited by a mod? Maybe talk in the chat room on virtualteen.org. I haven't quite figured that part out yet.

Another thing to keep in mind is that this isn't a job. I'm not hiring you. This isn't paid work. This is for educational purposes (unless my plan follows through) only. Almost like freelancing, except... not freelancing.

Question, are you by chance a designer? Not an artist, but a designer. A lot of people seem to get confused thinking an artist is a designer. We will need a designer.

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my thread.

Yeah, I know this wasn't paid, I'm not interested in money as long as my name is mentioned somewhere on the site with a link back to my blog. I am a designer of sorts, I do it but only because I have to. I'm not that creative but I do a lot of work with bootstrap, so we could use that if we didn't get another designer on board. Perhaps we can use pm to exchange contact details, although I don't know if my post count is high enough for that.

Yeah a PM requires at least 100 posts. Yes credit will be given, its really just meant for education, not sure on the length of publication however. Either way, a team requires some sort of live contact. Like a chat.

As for contact, email or maybe skype. I have a feeling that there might be a big time zone gap between us. What time zone are you in?

Email me and we can sort more stuff out on there. Project details and we can get a github repo going.

Email Address: Removed

To admins, sorry if I'm not supposed to post emails here. If you wish to remove it, please could you PM it on my behalf to Pseudofed. Thanks.

Are you interested in research/learning new aspects of programming language, while developing a real site at the same time?

Node.js? That's what we're currently looking at using. Don't worry if you aren't that experienced, once of the main intentions of this is to learn new things.
