I love speedos. Listen to your dad and Seth. There is absolutely nothing about which to be embarrassed. My brother and I enjoy the attention we get from the ladies at the water park. How many girls do you know that don't want to show their bulges? Not many if any. So why should a guy not want to show a bulge? Go forth with pride.

Many water polo players use thicker polyester suits instead of the lycra speedos for swimming. I know that a lot of water polo guys will wear two speedos, an older practice suit with the team suit over it. If you're worried about revealing a bulge or being secured water polo is far safer than swimming or diving.

This is how to wear a speedo, with confidence.

Speedos are cool, no matter how big of a bulge it shows. Don't be shy about it! If you're worried about slipping out, they do make supporters that fit under speedos. But really, enjoy the attention. Though I've been wearing one all my life, I don't remember ever getting much attention, negative or positive. I think most of it's in your head, just being self-conscious because its a new thing, and not in what really happens.

Lol speedos are just wrong lol

Wrong? Hmmm.. you must be joking. Yeah, you are joking.

They definitely help you swim faster. Trunks get heavy.
But yeah, except for swim team, people in the USA don't like them much. Lots of people wore them in Spain, but you hardly see them here. Maybe the whole country agrees with you!

Probably less than 1% look good in them

i dont know what to say really but i agreee with your dad because girls like to see a buldge and it can boost your self confidence in yourself knowing that you have a buldge.

I think showing your bulge is like girls showing their camel toe.

Hahah that's so freakin funny lol!!!

But seriously, find a nude park and hang there for a while, get used to the vulnerability, and I'll walk with pride.... we all got the same junk, just different size shape colors and some with more skin than others...

I'm a swimmer and it's no big deal, wear your speedo with pride man, it's a good thing to have 'huge balls' btw, it's more acceptable in Europe where I'm from though☺

I used to be on swim teams (not as much a big deal where I live now so I just swim for fun, not on teams). Different swim coaches prefer different suits. Some chose speedos, other jammers. I was self conscious too at first, but like one person said, most people don't say anything (who knows what people think), it's probably more just yourself. Plus it's not like jammers really hide anything either lol!

I am in a rowing team and our suites don't hide too much either. In them my outlines are clearly visible. As far as I know no one in our team really cares.
So if you love waterpolo play it and dont be shy for what you have ;)

I think you should be proud of it. It shouldn't be a big deal.
