Soreness in my breast

I've been on a new medication for about 10 days now, it's called lamictal. one of the potential side effects is chest pain but my nipples and areola have been really sore and sensitive lately. It's not because of my period.. and I really hope it's not breast cancer :confused:

It could just be due to a side-effect combined with what usually happens during your period, but just to be safe you should go to your doctor again just for a quick check-up. :)

So I ended up getting my period and once I did the pain stopped. perhaps it was a PMS thing. anyway thanks for your help! fairmaiden

I had a similar thing, are there any lumps? If so it could be harmless cysts within the breast. If the pain fluctuates during your cyclical it's probably just cynical breast pain. If it continues you could always try evening primrose oil capsules. They actually really help with that type of thing.
