I am really very angry and sad at Gillette. The "best a man can get" becomes the "best SHIT a man can get".
Ok lemme explain.
Today, infact 10 mins ago, I decided to shave my pubes again. I do every week so nothing new. I took a Gillette Pure and Sensitive Shave Gel and a BRAND NEW OUT OF THE CASE Mach 3 blade. I lathered with almost enough white stuff to drown myself(just a phrase) and shaved in slow gentle strokes. So you are probably wondering what is wrong, right? This is..
After 1 stroke I FELT THE WORST PULLING EVER. WHEN I STOPPED THERE WAS A CUT WHICH IS STILL BLEEDING. (let that sink in). Yes, GILLETTE the f**king a**holes.. WHAT THE F**K did they do??? My penis is the most valuable organ for me!(every dude knows why) Lucky me that the cut happened JUST above the penis. Anyway sorry for it being so long I just wanted to say,
If any of u are going for that gel or something, DO NOT GO! Thanks a lot for listening to my crazy, angry rant.(deep breath) I feel better now!!

Oh and sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I couldn't find where to post something related to penis. :D

you do realize you have to trim the hair down first so its not long otherwise it gets tangled in the blades

Apply Vaseline (petroleum jelly) on your cut and shave some other day when it has healed.
Before you shave, shower/soak yourself with warm to hot water (opens up cuticle of your pubic hair) so it's easier to shave (shave in direction of hair growth gently).

I have no problem using Gillette, honestly.

The lesson to be learned from this is to do what I do and keep your pubes natural!

Are you aware that these products are designed for facial hair, which is generally short. Long pubic hair will get caught in the blades and the razor might not work as intended. I use these on my facial hair and have done so for a long time now, without any cuts.

I am shaving after just 7 days!! It is smaller than a cm I think.

I think the problem is in the gel. Really stupid product, defective I think.

I shave everything (pits, face, pubes and but) often and i use a double edge safety razor the old style ones and its gets such a better cut than the modern ones and is really smooth but you also have to use the right cream and i find the cheapst and best is arko stick soap you get a great lather and better overall finish! Also blades are like 2c rather than 2$ each.

Ok, if it's defective then why does it work fine for other people? Maybe you're just angry that you cut yourself badly with it and are not considering that you misused the product? It is not designed for shaving pubes.

A razor obviously contains very sharp blades. Unlike the old "cut-throat" razors, modern razors are safe when correctly assembled and not damaged but damage, such as a bent blade or a blade that has moved in the housing, can cause them to be unsafe and cut.

Razors are also designed to be used to shave stubble back to smooth. If the hair where you're shaving is longer than that then clippers or scissors to get it down as a first step would be advisible. Longer hairs can get caught in the blades causing the damage mentioned above.

It is also a good idea to inspect the razor whenever you pick it up to check for damage. If any of the blades appear damaged or out of line then change the head.
