Do any of you have a best friend that's more like a brother or sister to you?

No, not as of now. Of course I have a best friend but in order for me to consider him a brother he needs to go a LONG way. Don't get me wrong I value him very much but we'd need to bond a bit more.

It depends what I take as 'like a sister to me'
I would be saying yes, probably. I have a friend who is always there for me and I know I can always go to her
Athough, me and my sister aren't close at all so my friend and I don't have the same kind of relationship as my sister and I, it's more like I'm very close to her, in what some might say I sisterly way

I have one female friend like that, and about 3/4 male friends like that, we even talk about it saying if one of us got killed my someone the other's would kill the person even done to hiding a body, not that we plain on doing it :P Family isn't always blood family is about love and respect.

I have two female friends who I consider sisters, but like Dying Ember, they're actually much closer than my real sister and I (though I still love her too).

No. Hard to imagine how that would be. I only really have 3 friends. Lots of acquaintences. Of those 3, one of them is my best friend, but I've never really thought of him like a brother. I don't know, somehow in my mind family is different than friends, and I can't really make a comparison between them. So I am kinda close to my best friend, but not in the same way I am close to my family.

I consider friends of my family like brothers/aunts/uncle or whatever else. Some people I'm not necessarily super close with, but I've known my whole life and have been better to me than my actual family.
