Is it normal to shave your pubes? And is there any point in doing it?

Is there any positive outcomes of shaving pubes? i.e is it nicer to have sex with someone who have shaved their pubes?

Do whatever you want. IIRC, the original point of them was to trap smells...but of course, that was back when people didn't bathe every date.

As long as you clean, then there really is no "need" for them.

With that said, I think the overall, general preference is to keep things trim and tidy, but yeah, everyone is different and everybody has different preferences.

Yeah, it's normal in most people, just because it looks and feels nicer. There is a point for like keeping clean and hygiene. I would think it's nicer to have sex with someone with their pubes shaved. :)

it all depends on personal preference, in all honesty. if you want to shave, then shave, if you don't, then don't. and if someone you're with can't respect your choices, you shouldn't be with them.

personally, i don't think there's really a 'need' for pubes, but i also think there's no 'need' to shave either. i've been with guys and girls who have shaved, and guys and girls with full bushes, and each encounter was enjoyable. you don't get any little hairs in your mouth (if you do, i think you're doing something wrong because i never have) and it smells like any normal genitalia would with or without hair, as long as you wash every day. it also tastes the same as if you shave, again, as long as you're clean.

in my personal opinion, it's just a fuck ton of work to shave. i get stubble growing back in like six hours and my skin gets extremely bumpy and cuts really easily if i don't let the hair grow out a little bit first, and it's just annoying. i keep everything neat and trimmed and i have never gotten any complaints about bad smells or tastes or anything like that.

honestly, it all comes down to personal preference. you do whatever you wanna do.

It's your choice really,I don't like shaving my pubes and I've stopped.It got way too itchy and I got too many ingrown hairs to deal with.It is a lot of work also.I'm just trimming my pubes now.If someone is going to judge you because you're shaved or have a full bush,you shouldn't be with that partner at all.They should respect your opinions.

I used to trim but now I don't really see the point because its personal preference and some people may like one style more than another but it also matters how much time you want to set aside to do so

Well i dont like hairs in my mouth if you know what i mean but functionally i shave my pubes and armpits and i dont smell anymore! But regardless its the trend and looks better. Also if you shave your crack its easier to wipe!

Some people like to shave their pubes, but is purely opinion. I trim mine to keep it clean down there. It is nice to have sex when there is less hair.

Right now my hair in my pubic area is very light and fine so I do not need to shave it, but I guess as I mature even more that my hair with become more and thicker. I will probably shave it just to be able to keep my vagina better cleaned.

The only way to find it out is to try it :)
I shave my balls an dick (as I grow some hair on it) and trim my pubes down to like 3mm.
I shaved my pubes once and hated it. It felt itchy and on the stubbles that grew back on the third day were annoying.

i alternate between shaved and natural, but natural for me is like a boy just starting puberty. shaved or well trimmed can make oral much nicer for the giver.

if natural is "like a boy just starting puberty", then shaved is like a little boy, isn't it? Personally I keep mine neat and trim, shaving is going too far and as far as oral is concerned, no hair grows on the penis, so there's no need to shave what isn't licked or sucked.

Right now my pubic hair is very fine and blonde which you can barely see so I don't shave that area yet. When it starts getting thicker I will probably shave there most of the time. I don't know if it makes sex any better because I have only had sex 1 time with my boyfriend, but I really don't see how it would make it any better.

I think you'll find that hair can grow at the base of the shaft

Some girls like it shaven and others like it natural. There is really nothing wrong with either you choose. I prefer mine shaven because I like the feeling of it being smooth down there and it is easier to keep it clean.

It's completely normal to shave downstairs. (; Just do what you like best. Usually, a lot of people prefer to do it because of looks.
