I'm not going to say things have really been getting better, because it's all the same. Grades are improving though which is nice, but everything else is the same. But I have been shifting into a more neutral no-fucks-given perspective on things. I'm sort of cutting off emotion from a large part of my life, and it seems to be helping.

But don't worry, I'm holding on to my humanity, I'm just giving it a break, considering the stress that it's put under every day. I'm still feeling stressed, with a pit in my chest from everything, but I'm coping a little better. Thanks to everybody who's helped so far. Just had to get this off my chest.

Sometimes it is good to be in that no-fucks-given mood...I do it every once in a while, and I can easily switch to that mood, because over time I learned how to control my emotions.
It is like a small vacation for your mind, just till the storm pass.

Learning to control emotions rather than let them control me has almost completely solved my depression problems. I think it's good that you are learning to take such initiative as to take control of the emotions you feel and convert them into pure rational force. Hopefully that makes sense.
