My last "Discussing the Style Series" post: Sophisticated Casual (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=224512)

This time around, we're going for formal. Think "attending a wedding" or "bachelor party" or "going on a date to a nice French restaurant."

For me:
Shirt, tie, and jacket:

It would be something like that except perhaps with a different colored tie; perhaps, a bow tie.

Pants:

Pretty much just this.

Shoes:

Something along these lines.

I'd also wear a nice watch. Something like this:

Maybe some nice glasses too. Not sure but probably the same glasses that I had in my other post:

Feel free to share your thoughts below! :)

For me, formal means cleaned up a bit. So shirt and tie, maybe a vest/jacket, and some dress pants. Again, formal = cleaned up IMO

For formal events I'll usually just wear black pants (skinny jeans mainly), a button-down shirt, suspenders and my least beat up pair of sneakers. I'll add a bowtie into the mix if it's a bit of a more formal occasion.
