I have read a few your threads but i'm mostly just a lurker and i don't find i can offer great advice that often hence the lurking.

I feel like VT is kinda slowing down it used to seem way more active.

Actually, I've read most of your posts. I don't really respond because I think I'd be no help. I have never had the need to self-harm, never done it. I know it happens to some people but I can't even pretend to understand why or how it helps.

I've only for a short time in my life thought about suicide (a year and a half ago). I obsessed over it a while, ended up talking it out with my parents, and they got me a counselor and that helped. Other than that, I havent a clue how to help.

But you probably should know that a lot of us are listening/reading, just don't know what to say.

I also have to agree with Rin above on the fact that VT has been much more slow than it has been in the past. In the past, you would get tons of responses on here. People have been leaving recently too. I think once we get into the next school year the userbase might flare up and that would be good.

You could try the GovTeen forums as a secondary option. It's made by the same group that made and pays for VT.
