Okay this is a topic that is driving me insane, is completely mind-boggling, and very intriguing at the same time. So, basically, Eternity: No beginning, no end. Now I can easily understand how time will never end. That's easily comprehensible. But existence never began??? I mean, everything has to begin sometime, except of course Eternity, so basically existence always was... But how does that even work???
My brain hurts...
Another thing is infinite space. No matter how far you go, there is always more space, even quadrillions of light-millenniums away. I mean, there has to be a boundary somewhere, yet there isn't!
Incomprehensible...

Not sure how this is a debate. Your insignificant, finite human mind is incapable of comprehending eternity.

Mine too. I like to think of things as being cyclical. The heat death of the universe (looks at the second law of thermodynamics) results in all being destroyed, cleansed. The big bang the opposite, all being created. I like to think they are somehow the same thing.

Time the same way. and distance too. eventually, as eienstein postulated, one would return to earth, having gone in a loop.

One might think. But can we know for sure? And how exactly does that work?

Scientists have speculated that space-time itself curves, so no matter wher you go you are continually curving. So it's possible.

I for one, am a believer that it is impossible for any item to reach infinity.
