Just uploaded another original song of mine on my site. Feel free to check it out. It is called Empathy :)

Have any of you written songs even if you haven't performed/played it?

I've written some, but because I can't sing I've never performed them. I'm also writing one now with my band, with me writing some of the lyrics and most chord progression, but unfortunately they are set on making it a love song, which I kinda hate.

I dig the chord progression on your new song by the way.

In primary school me and my friend formed a pretty cool duo and we wrote all sorts of songs and performed them at the end of the school day. He went to a different school than me though so we couldn't continue.

Never written a song myself. I can't play any music instruments. I listened to Empathy and really enjoyed it :)

Yeah, I've written a bunch of songs. A lot of them I've forgotten the chords/lyrics to because I haven't played them in years, but others I've written recently I play often. I've never played a show so I've really only played them for friends and family.

That's a really good song! I've written quite a few songs and I've performed one a cappella for an audience. I also posted a really poor snippet of one of them on my SoundCloud, but I really need to rerecord it (and the rest of the song). I posted some lyrics on this website a while ago too.

Ive written many songs(from lyrics to tabs) especially for the band but its usually the frontman who writes the songs but everyone pitches it.
