So a few days ago I told a girl that I liked her. She's been a close friend for over a year now, and she was happy I told her. She just said that she's been confused about who she likes and doesn't know how she feels.

My problem is that lately things have been a bit awkward. For a few weeks we haven't really been talking much in person, and now I just feel really awkward around her. Any tips?

thats fine! she will just need to take time to process everything you said to her and get her head together and all that. If you still havent spoken say to her, you appreciate your friendship (regardless of what you are to each other and you don't want things to be awkward. it shows concern and maturity.
