How to Get Published

I hope to become a author in my offtime as an adult, I have already written two manuscripts that are part of a four part quadrilogy and have a large amount of other ideas jammed up in my head that I would like the world to enjoy.

Anyway, I was curious as to how to get a hold of a publishing company or really anyone that could get my books out there. Has anyone here gotten any work published before?

I've never personally had a book published. I've attempted to publish poetry, but never an actual book. Your best bet would be to research some book publishers and get in contact with them. Other than that, I'm not sure what to say.

Consult a reputable and well-connected literary agent for your first publication, I cannot stress this enough. You will find it very, very difficult to break industry otherwise.
