It is the best game ever imo... But other than that it has excellent graphics, excellent story line, excellent everything... One of the most played MMORPG, millions of players :) Also- it is often portrayed as the nerdiest game... but id say almost everyone that plays at my school (like 30 people) are considered popular :)

i used to play it because it was fucking awesome. Rune scape sucked so i look for another game similar to it. and found guildwars..that was OK but wasnt a real mmo...then i found the mighty WOW. and it pretty much raped those games.

I only stoped playing because i couldnt pay my payments cuz i dont have a job.

okay i used to be addicted to this game... my paretns finally cut me off of it and i quit. people who say they can just get up and stop playing CANNOT!! i STILL have feelings that i want to play again, but just getting up and quitting isnt that easy. i havent played in 2 years and i still have the small addiction waiting inside me, i will never play again because i can controll myself strong enough to never play again... i dont think ANYONE should play this game because it gets WAY to addicting. if u are planning on waisting a huge ass chunk of your life, go ahead play. BTW when i played i had about 150 days of playing time on it, which is a half of a year on this game.... i think that is rediculous and sick.


also, the game is purposely made for people to play for hours at a time, there is no way people can just sign on and do something for like 15-30 minutes because there is nothing in WOW that u can do for that long and get something accomplished. i say who ever reads this thread should think of the conciquences before buying this game.

WoW is **** I'm going to leave it that, if you like rainbow games made for 12 year olds fine personal choice.. I like games that have a plot & meaning to them, for some reason I haven't found games like that for years.

HAH!! WoW SUCKS!! idk if its just be but I just never got into it. Ive played atleast 20 - 30 mmos like Anarchy Online, Eve Online, Maple Story, Age of Connan, Kal Online, Guild Wars, Runescape >.>, and lots of others. I've never really been addicted to any of them seeing as how I ALWAYS get bored of mmos and thats kinda why ive played so many :D but yea World of Warcraft is a over rated game.

1. It cost money!!
2. The graphics are not really that good compared to other games. Look at EVE online and tell me that WoWs graphics are good PSSSHH!!!! Ill freakin slap the crap outa you if you ever say that
3. You have to fuckin walk EVERYWHERE!!!!! untill lvl 40 where you get a mount
4. Like all mmos, its all kill this - do quests - talk to some person - kill some more - etc

I honestly don't understand how people can be addicted to WoW.

I bought it like two years ago just to see what the buzz was about since I watched it on South Park and I thought "Maybe I'll buy it"

So I did and turns out that it had like six discs that you had to install on the computer and it ate up a lot of internal memory on my computer. I returned it and didn't get my money back because "It smelt like gass and may possibly be a bomb"

It's somewhere in my house. God damned Wal-Mart.

I started playing WoW because of my step-brother, He said it was alright and has been playing for 2 years (One of the best pallys in anvilmar realm now). I am a off and on player, because I cant stand to sit at the computer for a long period of time. The reason why I quoted Yoda is because its true. All of the popular people portray that they are the coolest people ever (and other people are called nerds because the play WoW) but the thing is even the popular kids cant resist the urge to play a good MMORPG :P.
