Is it normal for my weight to go up a bit? I've been eating normally, and done the same amount of sports as usual, but I've began to put weight on the bottom half of my belly, and around my neck. Everywhere else muscles are coming. But I don't want to have a fat neck, and a fat belly. Will these just pass? Or are they me putting on weight for some unknown reason? I have a tanner stage of 3.9/4.1 and I'm 14.5

During puberty you put on weight more than normal and most of the time it's weight that has built up over years; not that you've been eating more. Just keep eating normally and you'll be fine. :)

Does your kid body lasts thro puberty ??? Well I too thought so...too bad, things change...
It's just a passing phase....whn I was 14 I too had a waist of 27"...no butt at all ...so all my pants used to come down...had to wear belts with jeans..I wore kid sized undies.!!!!

Fast forward 2 years and I now stand almost 20kg heavier with a waist of 36"..and got a well rounded butt..all clothes fit me snug...Nobody + me ever thought this will happen....my friends/aunts cant even recoginze me!!!...I've seen this with some ultra skinny kids....this will happen with puberty and dont worry...

eat hearty meals and get plenty of rest... your body will decide when and where to grow.

During puberty everything varies, including muscle and fat mass. My weight used to fluxuate a lot and I was a bit worried but it went away. I think it'll solve itself towards the end of puberty.
