Hi!!

Honestly it was a bit painful the first couple of times but you get use to it, plus I also take an ibuprofen (?) tablet an hour before, which really makes it very bearable. Its just like a quick sting (but I'm not really very hairy anyway).

I go to a salon in San Diego. I get everything done - full legs, arms, underarms, brazilian bikini, brows - as part of a $99 package, but it helps that my mom is good friends with the owner.:D Mom had to give her permission before they would do my pubes.

I get 6 weeks between waxes, some girls get longer, but some have to go more often. The grow-out period sucks as the hair has to be a certain length to be waxed, but it's just a matter of covering up for the week before.

The best part is that the hair eventually stops growing back, at least with a lot of girls. Mom's been waxing since she was a teen and almost has no hair on her body any more. Mine's still growing back, as it takes years to finally stop. Im thinking about lazer, though. I want to look good when I finally go to college!!:)

Good luck!!! As long as you find a good waxer (dont just go for the cheapest, look at recommendations), youll be fine. Give it a few goes, try to get use to the sensation, and I bet youll be hooked too!! Its SO much better than shaving.
