Confusing and Scared asf

This guy keeps looking at me, and directly at me, and I kinda like him, but it's beginning to creep me out. He's 2 years above me, and he leaves really soon. He leans in close to me, and seems to smile a lot around me. He talks to his friends about me, it's so obvious. I want to ask him why he keeps looking at me, but I'm scared of fucking everything up, due to me having to do a club with him. If i asked him, it couldn't be in person, I'm too socially awkward. I'm just straight curious. I want to just talk to him, and message him, but I don't want to seem creepy or needy.

if you cant just walk up to him and talk to him, write him a little note and leave your kik or something where he can contact you if he wants to, but dont put your name on it.

Ask if he's seen the new Avengers movie or something. Find out where he hangs out after class, during lunch etc.

Just treat it like a friendship. Don't say anything you're not comfortable with. You don't know him.
