Hey guys, my best friend moved away this year and I'm going to visit him this summer. As far as I can remember his family is quite religious, he's a hardcore catholic. I recently converted from Catholicism and if they wanted to go to church while I was there should I just go along with it? I'm not sure if they would go while I'm there or not so I don't really know what to expect. Don't want to disappoint them or make an awkward situation. I'm probably overthinking this entire thing lol.
Thanks!

I would say if they're hard-core catholics they'll most likely go. If it was me, I would go as well, I don't really mind it even though I'm atheist. If you really do not want to go though, even though I think this is not the case, you could ask them to let you stay outside, which shouldn't be a big deal if you got on well with them.
I don't find the situation something to stress over too much but you've certainly got a valid point. Let us know how everything goes :)

I'd go I'm Christian but I choose what I believe. Even if a friend was Jewish Muslim ect I'd go with them, to show good faith
