If your doing laundry and you find dark stains in the crotch part of the underwear does that imply an infection?
I thought all slight urine stains were yellowish...so if the stain is dark what does that mean?
(i.e. It's not a poop stain, those are obvious and smelly)

Were you assigned male or female at birth? If female, it could just be menstruation.

If you are a person with a vagina, yellow stains are not actually urine stains but the result of discharge being exposed to oxygen. If you experience a lot of discharge naturally, it can sometimes turn a somewhat light brown-ish colour throughout the day. If it's darker than that, you could be spotting between periods. If you're a person with a vagina who has not yet started their period, again, you could be spotting as well. Spotting is typically small drops of blood prior to a full menstrual cycle.
If you experience heavier, discoloured discharge that is abnormal for your usual ovulation cycle, that could mean an infection.
If you're a person with a penis... then I have no clue.

Could it be possible that without knowing you could have gotten something like a stain on your underwear somehow or something from the laundry stained it?

So I figured out that the stains are coming from "arousal fluids".
But I think I'm going to go ask a doctor to test the clothing itself.
I was told it might have been traces of blood from the glands that are responsible for making the "arousal fluids".
