do you ever go bra shopping by yourself or go with someone else to try on bras? or do you go to a store that has someone do a special bra fitting for you? what kind of bras do you like or shop for? and what stores do you like to shop for your bras?

hi Becca when I was younger I went shopping for bras with my mom because I didn't have a sister growing up. Then a little bit later I went with my best girl friend and we went bra shopping together and that tend to be fun. Now I cannot go myself and like you I go to Walmart. Once in awhile I'll splurge and buy a bra at Victoria's Secret. I usually need padded cup bras because my nipples are very sensitive and if I buy just a normal cotton bra my nipples definitely show through the bra and whatever top I'm wearing or if I'm wearing like a summer dress they will definitely show. do you have sensitive nipples or what kind of bras do you like to wear

I'll go shopping with my sister or best friends, but never had a fitting done properly, kinda just read up online how it is done lol. I don't like others seeing me naked!

Hi Clara I had one bra fitting just to make sure I was getting the proper bra size for my boobs the girl was very very nice and she knew I was nervous and it was hard having a stranger that I did not know touching my boobs I'm using a measuring tape and adjust my bra to see if it is right size or not but on that day I have a feeling she was bi because she was making a lot of nice comments about my boobs and how nice they looked in the new bra that I bought but I know it's more of a personal thing and I'm like you kinda nervous too

I guess I got lucky in that 85% of the time I get a bra that fits perfectly (although I kinda like them a bit loose if you know what I mean). Took a lot of trail and error so I bought cheaper ones just to test it out myself, my parents don't really talk about these things or pay attention haha. Oh gosh even reading that makes me cover up my chest! *cringe* I once had a nurse touch under the waistband of my jeans in an A&E check, I sat bolt upright O.O. SUPER AWKWARD. She just looked at me like I was weird and walked off :whoops:

And also is it weird that I only want the one I love seeing my chest? It's not that I'm not proud of what I have, but I just like the idea of keeping them specially for him. Such a hopeless romantic haha.....

Sounds like you had a very flattering experience though, I suppose if you are bi or lesbian inclined, that would be a pretty exciting job!

I go bra shopping with my older sister, but I also have a proper fitting every year. Its really worth it and alot of places offer it free. You wont regret it!!!

hi clara you're very very welcome. It sounds like a few things you're very self conscious about your body with just fine a lot of those girls are and it's not weird to having your love 1 only to see your boobs or any part of your body. when you see a doctor or a nurse they see many many many girls going through puberty and they see girls in their twenties and thirties and even people in there 80s so its okay. .but even as Lucie said, she has a bra fitting once a year and that's good because if you wear a bra that's way too loose or way too tight it can give you many many problems as you get older and that's not healthy. go to somewhere or ask a friend do you get bra fittings and where'd you go and maybe ask one of your girlfriends to go with you and that can help you. it's hard to trust people you don't know to see your body especially if you feel self conscious but to have a proper bra fitting is really good I don't know what size boobs you have I'm a 32b but I still want a bra that's comfortable and fits correctly... And it makes sense why you like to have your bra a little bit loose but make sure at least go in one time to have a proper bra fitting

I went with my mum when l was younger, she showed me how to measure myself and like Clarawho, l read some stuff online as well. Now when l go shopping, l just make sure l leave them on for a minute or two to make sure they fit ok and they're comfortable.

i dont go anywhere spical i go to the warehouse or farmers etc

Hi Jenni thanks for starting a very interesting thread, it was great to read all the replies as to how different people went bra shopping, and also it was good to hear about the experience you had at a fitting with the girl you thought may have been BI, it sounded like a present experience.
Personally I have not had a bra fitting done because I don't have a lot in the boob department yet except like you Jenni I have nipples / areola problems as in they are very puffy and stick out quite a bit, more so when erect.
So I only wear a bra when I really need to its either a sports bra or regular cotton bra it would depend on the way am dressing. I wear a 30A or AA depending on the bra. I would go bra shopping with mum or girl friends, and I also go with my friends when they go, they usually get a fitting as they are all still growing. X

hi Angie you're very very welcome I've always thought about what other girls how they handle trying their bras or if they get a fitting. It's essential to get a proper fitting now and then to make sure you're wearing the correct bra size. like you it's awesome to see the amazing answers and I'm glad a lot of you have support from your mom and friends yes my experience with very awesome I loved it and if you got the right person you might experience it to if you could a person that's rough doesn't care about your best interest because you're just starting to maybe go from a training bra to a new bra then just leave and get your mom a sister or best friend to go with you and maybe go somewhere else. it is important that you have a person who has your best interest when having a proper bra fitting

Why, if they fit and are comfy without causing my any problems, would I urgently NEED a bra fitting?

My Cup and bra size is average I suppose, but they're perky and don't get in the way, they give me no problems and plenty of pleasure :wub: . If the lovely ladies start causing me bother then I shall get them a personal shopper to keep them happy. But for now, my bras are cute and sexy, fit well, and I am a happy girl :)

I'm small enough that I don't wear them except for sports bras...I usually just wear a tanktop underneath whatever top I'm wearing and go from there

Hi Clara, like you my boobs our firm to my nipples are very very sensitive but I'm a B cup..some of us feel more comfortable with a proper fitting and some don't feel like they want one. So it is most likely a..personal choice, but having a proper bra fitting nice to me helps to make sure I have the correct bra need to wear...

Bra shopping is as normal as clothes shopping. I usually go with my mom and I show her what the bra looks like on me. It isn't often simply because I'll get 5-6 bras in a year at the same time. My favorite store is Dillard's because they have specials in the summer.
