Sorry mods if this isn't allowed, delete if necessary.
I heard in the news that Sky would be emailing customers to see if they wanted to have restrictions placed on what websites could be viewed - this has now happened in my house and I can't get on any porn/18+ sites.
Anybody else have this problem and how can you get around it?
No hope of changing it as I think you get an email notification.

Search google for what a VPN is, alternatively look at web proxies. They're essentially the same idea but different ways of doing it. You connect to either the VPN or visit the proxy website and use their server to access the material, their server then forwards it to your computer and the ISP (eg sky) can't block it because they just see the address of the content coming from the VPN or proxy (which isn't its self blocked) not what it actually contains. Stupid government think they can block things
Btw. This works with anything blocked by any country, as long as somewhere in the world it isn't blocked someone can set up a proxy / vpn and let people bypass their own countrie's restrictions.

Yeah get a vpn for free, its a nice thing. Just don't do anything illegal with it.

google psiphon 3, open the amazon aws page and click try for windows, then click run instead of save, and nothing is ever saved on your computer, but it will get around any sort of block.
even if you're on a shared computer, don't worry. i use it all the time at school to get around the blocks on sites, and it doesn't save in downloads or anywhere on the computer if you click run instead of save
enjoy ;)

This has nothing to do with puberty. This is also something we can't really help you with.
If your parents have blocked certain websites on your computer, they obviously did this for a reason. If you are trying to get around this by using different methods to access those sites, those actions are on you, and we aren't responsible or support your choice in doing that.
