Hi I am 15 male and I got 'bumfluff' on my cheeks and a light moustache, personally I think it's ugly sitting there so I want to shave it off, but I am scared to ask my mum about buying me a razor. I don't like asking my dad for these sort of stuff as I feel more comfortable round my mum but I don't want it anymore! What should I do?

So can't you just use one ? Or even write on a shopping list you need one

I was too scared to ask so bought myself some gel and stole one of my dad's razors. As they were only disposable I kept taken one every now and again and unsurprisingly they knew.
Got bought an electric one one christmas, which was better as it means I didn't cut my face.

Just ask, they'll know the time has come.

I wouldn't recommend you to do that alone for first time . Everyone needs help when shaving for the first time . In that case , electric razor is better , because you can't cut yourself and you don't need any help for using it . :D :D

lol why not ask your dad? he saves too I am guessing, he will completely understand. most guys learn how to shave (their face at least) from their dad

Can you go to a store by either walking or biking and purchase a razor? I think it's a good alternative if you don't want your parents to know.

What if they eventually find out though?

Hey, I first shaved at 13, with an electric razor, and first shaved with a normal razor at 14. Both times were alone. If you can use someone else's razor, just wash it a lot before using. Then, make sure to wet the razor with cold water (makes the blade better), then make sure to have a clean face, and warm it up with warm water, then pull the skin taut, then glide the razor across. If you can't pull the skin taut, it's already taut, so just shave. PM me for more help

There is absolutely nothing to be embarrassed/ashamed about the act of shaving. Be straight forward about your desire to clean up the fuzz for a more mature look. Either ask for the stuff needed, or buy it yourself. If you have a friend who has started shaving ask for advise.

Its not about buying it, its just I dont want to do it and then my parents find out and then ask me questions

The thing is, sooner or later they will? It's only a matter of time until you have to really start shaving so what do you plan to do then?

Im thinking, the more of an issue you make of this in your head, the more it's goonna bother you.

The question that's been going through my mind is can you just shave with a girls razor? I heard they are curved more to fit the leg and a rounded bald will give you hard core razor burn.

I got an electric one for Christmas as a joke so I didn't need to ask

I would try to find an unused razor in your house to use, like in your parent's bathroom or something. If not then just use your dad's or your brother's razor if they have one - which they most likely do.

"Bumfluff" XD that's adorable. If you steal them though, over time, they will notice.

You should probably ask your dad instead pf your mum as he can show you how tk shave but if you really don't want to ask him then the best option is to buy shaving cream and a packet of razors yourself and find something on the Internet.
