Hot/Cold Crush

There's a boy at my school who's been my friend for a few years now and I have a crush on him. But each day we talk at school he goes from being really nice, friendly, and funny around me and then sometime later he'll act as if I've just annoyed him (or as if I'm really stupid), ignores me, or says something rude to me.

Is this supposed to mean anything? Or is he just a jerk?

Hard to say what that means.

Sometimes mean comments are meant to be jokes taken good or understood as jokes.

But some people are more sensitive than others, and in either case if the comments are hurting your feelings you should communicate that to him.


Sometimes guys tease girls they like too so that's also a possibility.


I'd probably be able to give better advice if you told a story example of a situation where he said something or did something you interpreted as mean. We also have to rule out sarcasm.



But yes he could just be a jerk you need to stay away from.
