I told my civics teacher I wrote some songs loosely inspired by her class and she offered to give me extra credit points if I give her a copy of the lyrics! :yeah:

Oh wow. That's pretty crazy I've never had a teacher do that, but then again I've never written lyrics like that.

That's nice of her, but I don't think I know anyone who thinks music is useless :P

Who says music is useless? Who says that? I literally can't think of a time I have ever heard someone say that, or know someone to think that, ever.

This. Music is the best tool for everything positive.

Try to ask what your teacher intends to do with the lyrics. If they're put into a song, it's worth it 100%, not minding the credits of course.

That's nice of her, but I don't think I know anyone who thinks music is useless :PI have had teachers tell me to my face that my art and music will get me nowhere in life actually.
