View Full Version : Tight Foreskin

I've always had a tight foreskin, about 6 years ago (When i was 8) my parents asked me to pull my foreskin to keep it clean, but i simply couldn't. It was far too painful for me. I remember my parents saying at the time, not to worry about it as it would loosen during puberty. I've started growing pubic hair and my willy has got slightly bigger (Nothing major) but my foreskin hasn't loosened up yet. I've tried to pull it back when i have a wee and i've tried to J/O but it's been too sore.
I'm only 14, but it's giving me lots of pain. Should i see a doctor?

Okay, i will definitely get it checked it out. My brother is 10 and he can pull his foreskin back fully so i'm sort of worried about it. Also, when at the GP, would i have to give a pee sample?

Maybe to see if there is an infection

As first there is no need to get cut . You can solve this problem by practicing while shower . If it doesn't work , try buying steroid creams , and visit doctor . Many guys have this problem , and lets say , 90% of them solve it without getting circumcised . It's not end of world , but it's important to practice whenever you have chance . It'll be fine , believe me .

If you can get some lube you can try use that and pull it back a bit at a time then stop and do it again later on, repeat this and eventually it just loosen up.

I had to be circumcised for same problem.

I'd recommend seeing your GP about this. Because chances are, it'll be of no issue, i.e. they just prescribe you some cream/lubricant to apply to loosen the friction, but at least you'll be receiving professional advice to have that added peace of mind.
Hope that helps, all the best :)

Went to GP 3 days ago, got the cream, isn't having an effect on me, going back next week. If the cream doesn't work, Dr has said that i'll have to get cut.

Well the last thing they will want to do is cut you, another dr opinion mite be worth it. A week isn't that long to let the cream work. If you end up getting cut don't worry :) it's better to have it working than have it intact and not working

Haahahahahahah :D
Man , you must be patient . You can't even fix it for one whole month , and not for one week . It will took you 2-3 months probably . Believe me , just practice more , it'll surely be fine . Just be patient and practice . :D . Many guys have that problem and most of them fix it without getting circumcised . :D

Try pulling it back a little bit in the shower everyday. It will probably stretch. If not u might have to b circumcised.

seeing a doctor wont hurt for sure ;)
he can give you advice or maybe other solutions than circumcision. But circumcision is fine too ;)

Maybe so? I'm 13 and my foreskin is loose and feels good when I pull it back and forth.

Craig - i wouldn't worry about it yet, and do not consult a doctor yet because depending where you live they may want to just circumcise you for the $250.
Your dad was right, but there's more to his story he may have omitted. the reason the foreskin loosens up during puberty is that you would be masturbating at last twice a day between ages 11 and 16. Little by little the skin will loosen and one day will slip back behind the head while you are jerking off. The reason for the skin is to protect your sensitivity, that's why the head is sensitive and hurts after you skin back. I know that you are anxious, I was also, I couldn't skin back until I was 16. Any more questions please PM me.

I used the cream for months before they did anything about it. Plus stretches in the bath or shower. Give it a chance and from experience I can say only get it circumcised if u have no other choice

You should visit a doctor, due to the fact that there could be infection, and/or restriction of blood flow. This condition is known as phimosis, and can be solved without surgery sometimes. PM me if you want to know how I got past this

The cream is loosening it up slightly now. I was off a few days back and was home alone, so was walking around naked as i'm a nudist, so i was needing a wee, so i stood at the toilet and managed to pull back ever so slightly before weeing, it got sore the more i pulled it back, but i know how much it can pull back for now. I've been using the cream, so it's been loosening.

I'm glad to hear that . You see , I told you that there isn't reason for circumcision . Circumcision shouldn't be solution for such little problem . :D :)
Just keep practicing , and everything will be fine . :)

Hi. I've had a few messages from everyone asking how everything is. It's improved a lot in the past two weeks, so I'm really happy about that. I still haven't been able to J/O yet, but I think that will happen soon, if the process keeps up. Feeling a million times better about it, was able to pull back more skin when I went for a wee this morning, that was a lot cleaner as it didn't spray everywhere, but I can't get it fully back over my head when I wee but hopefully by this time next month I'll be able to pull back fully and J/O

xD I had the same problem as you when I was about 13 and a half y.o., (15 and a half atm) and yes, I solved it by practicing for some time ;)
when I was a baby, the dr offered my parents to do circumcision, but they denied. this problem was typical for men in my family:/ but finally everything is becoming to be ok

I am 14 too, but I could pull it back fine starting probs 2 years or so ago.
You just have to pull it back and masturbate a lot :D. Not a problem for me lol.

Good news, hope the cream keeps working. Soaking your penis in a warm bath may help too.

Update. I'm almost there! Can pull back fully for going for a wee! Very excited about that. Going to try j/o tonight.
I'm a bit clueless on foreskin hygeine as I've not had to pull it back, but do I need to wash it? Do I just wash it as I would when I was my willy or do I need to pull back to wash it?

That's good Craig when washing was the outside and then pull it back and wash under it. It night be sensitive a bit but that's ok just use water at first them soap as you get used to it. Hope this helps also you don't have to pull back when peeing that's your choice

Good job dude! You made it!
Keep going, though. Dont pull back past the point that it starts to hurt though! You could tear it. But if you can pull back far enough to bathe, to get it clean, you're set. And jerking off is a great plus..... But you know, until you get used to it, or your foreskin really loosens up, you're best off to use lube when you j/o. Longterm it wont matter but while its still stretching, lube will help prevent an injury.

I was in the same boat as you are. But I started the cream when 12 years old. My foreskin was real tight. It took about a year to loosen it up but 2 months out I had progress. If you really can wait to loosen it you will work to loosen it up. It will hurt but take your time and streachieve whenever you have 5 free minutes.
You really want to be cut?
BTW looking at your pee hole how much head can you see pulled back?
Mark2000

I had same but parents bought streachieve rings and I git cream prescribed by doc. I am just fine.
See your dic and do not let him tell you need it cut.
