so im in a rough situation.. i lived with my mother since i was 10 and then after some family drama i moved to my dads house... after about 3 years of on again off again abuse i moved back with my mum. it has been a living hell... stupid things just blow out of proportion... there are holes in all the walls, my mum has called the cops numerous times... we both love eachother but we are just always at eachothers throats.... after about 6 months of this my dad has recently contacted me saying he has been sober since december, has gone to rehab, and that my stepmother has been going back to school and will be home more, so i will have a mum as well... im not sure what to do as i have many friends here and a lot going on... next year will be my freshman year and im not sure if it will be as easy to make friends in highschool... can u guys give some advice...

I would say move in with your dad but if it's close enough between the two I would do a week in week off so you get a break from both sides and still get to see both of then equally

you should live where you would feel you would be most comfortable and that would be most conducive to your way of living.
