Ever wonder why listening to sad music makes you feel better when you're down in the dumps? Have you tried it? I bet you have. Post in a reply any song that you go and listen to when you feel "down", and if you want, write what it helped you get over or just suggest a nice "musical way" to get over depression/bad situation! :D :metal::metal:

Mine: Skillet - Would It Matter :metal:
It helped me get over a two-year relationship after breaking up.:D

James blunt - tears and rain
Yiruma - River flows in you
Birdy - skinny love

These songs don't actually make me feel any better but I still listen to them when I feel down just well, because

Great choices!! Love a bit of James Blunt too, he's great!

Any song from Take That's Beautiful World album is enough to make me feel that tiny little bit better everyday - whether it's because of Uni, people, or anything in general, listening to that album just never fails to put a smile on my face!

I like to listen to Itch by Nothing But Thieves when I'm depressed. It somehow helps me to withstand the urge to self harm, I don't know why.
I generally prefer rock music over sad music when I'm really down. (To be honest, I prefer rock music over any music at any time, but that's another matter.) I like to put really, really loud music on and sing along. I have no idea how my parents still put up with that...
