There is a certain novelty to putting a condom on and it is also something you should practice doing at least once when you are on your own and relaxed, so when the time comes to put one on for sex you will already be familiar and not struggle while excited and impatient.

I would have to agree with Seth.
It's good to know how they work, but it's a waste of money to use simply for masturbation purposes. It may make cleanup easy, but there's plenty of other methods that are a lot less money wasting.
