Spotting after first tine

Is it normal to spot a little after having sex for the first time and it's been very light spotting and just barely enough for a pad or anything!
Is that a normal thing?
My period isn't due for another 6 days, so could it be an early period?

And it didn't start until about 36-48 hours after if that makes any difference!

You might've torn your hymen a bit, or torn yourself some other way down there. I wouldn't worry about it too much unless it persists or you experience other pain/discomfort.

Or maybe it is your period coming early. See if it gets any heavier?
