View Full Version : Trouble peeing

So the other day I go into a changing room with one of my friends and we both need to pee. In the changing room is one urinal and one stall (next to each other). I struggle at urinals anyway so I went in the stall, he went to the urinal.
However, I found it tricky to actually pee despite there being a door between the two of us. It took me about two minutes to actually get it done (which when you know your friend has finished ages ago and is still in the changing room, making me feel quite self-conscious, can feel like much longer than it is)
Anyone able to make sense of this?

That's problem of psychological nature , you must google about it . Personally , I don't have that problem , but I heard a lot of people with that problem . If you don't find something useful on internet , then go to psychologist . :D :D

it's called having a shy bladder and is fairly common

Yes a lot of guys experience that. Try not to think about it. If you don't want to use the urinals you don't have to, if it makes it easier for you.

yeah, its called being pee shy and its pretty common among both guys and girls. if its that much of a bother for you then you should go see a psychologist about it; its basically mind over matter.

It's fairly normal. Fortunately I haven't experienced that since I was very young. When you have to, just relax and take a deep breath and see if that helps.

You're probably just self conscious. Maybe do some research on how to get over it (although I imagine it would be much harder in practice).

You are just pee shy, feeling uncomfortable exposing yourself or urinating with other guys around. I would bet that over time you will relax about it and not have problems. I woudn't worry about it.

Yup, it's called being Pee Shy, and while some people struggle for this for a long time, there are some who got over it, and I'm one of those people who got over it. I used to have this when I was in my first years of puberty where I wasn't so sure how to act around men who were my age, who were older or who were younger than me that were also in the urinal. I guess I just got used to the way men do their business and was determined to use the urinals more often than using the stalls (I used to be a stall person) when peeing.
If you're uncomfortable seeing a professional about this, you can try asking your dad and see what he has to advice you about this. You both could go to a doctor and see what may be the case, if he suggests it anyway.
The best to you!

The same has happened to me before, it's normal. If you do some simple math in your head while trying to pee, you'll let lose instantly. Try it!

same here, mostly when standing at the urinal next to another boy. Sometimes I even get a bit stiff, which is good for my self-consciousness because my dick looks bigger, but which makes peeing even more difficult

I normally can't piss in public places either and today I had a huge delay in a restaurant which was very embarrassing because my friend finished a while before me. It's probably normal considering that I've heard a few people with the same story on this website.
