I'm having my first gyno exam next week. l know l have to spread my legs really wide and Googled it, but any tips or info from girls who've had one and what actually happens would be really helpful.

Due to many medical procedures when I was a child I now have a phobia about anything medical.:(
So before a gyno,I am heavily sedated so I don’t know or care whats gong on.

But my mum acts as a chaperone and is in the room though not directly watching.

make sure you are comfortable with your gynecologist. it will feel uncomfortable at first you will have to remove your pants and panties and shirt and bra. they will feel around you they will feel your breasts and they will also feel around your vagina they will insert two fingers in your vagina if you're still a virgin tell them. you will also place your feet in these cold metal stirrups. pick me pick a cotton swab and stick up to you're cervix and rub to make sure you don't have anything wrong inside they will also ask you questions on your sexual history they want to make sure you have no STD's when you're young the first one is pretty easy going and scary also if you're someone who is extremely horny masturbate a lot there is a chance you might get turned on by your gynecologist it has happen and if you feel that way to masturbate before you go and then that way you will be or you won't feel as sexually aroused by your gynecologist placing two fingers up inside your vagina...
