So me and this girl (I'm a guy) have been friends for a couple of years, over this time we've been getting closer, last year I started to have a crush on her, then later on that year we found out we liked each other. So we talked for a bit and decided to be boyfriend and girlfriend, but then a couple of days later she told me that she wasn't mentally ready to have a boyfriend. We hadn't told anyone that we were going out but one of our other friends wanted us to, she wouldn't shut up about us so we told her what had happened. But now I feel like I really really like her but I don't feel comfortable asking her if she's ready yet.

We also flirt quite a bit, so I know she still likes me, but I just don't know if she's ready to be in a relationship yet.
