I have no clue whether this has to do with puberty or not, but if i post it over at P101 i'll only get people saying "i have it too" or "i don't have it" and i actually need some help here.

So i've noticed stretch marks appeared on my biceps and i realised i started my pathetic attempts to "work out" recently, too- does it have something to do with me overtraining them? i've really just been doing the silly exercise things until i was tired, i haven't really looked up how many times to do it daily as it was mainly a way for me to get rid of my anger towards Ruben still being completely unreachable.

a little bit of research has told me that apparently people that exercise "too much" will get these stretch marks around their muscles, and it also has something to do with a lack of vitamin E? i'm a little confused... i thought exercise would be a good way to use the anger in my advantage..

I've got them too, and I really don't know why, I did get three in a row, from lifting too much, but then they have began to fade
Sorry to not be so much help

Strech marks appear cos ur body expands faster than ur skin...Whn my GF took me out of my anorexic diet I was rail thin/48kg and has been skinny all my life ....in the 1st year itself I went upto 60kg with much of it settling in my tummy growing it from 26" to 32" + my flat butt rounded up much too....and I got stretch marks in my lower tummy, thigh and butt ...they were pink then...I had much body image issues with changing size I did not worry abt them then.
In the next year I gained some more (upto 68kg and 36")but cos my body filled out at a lower rate...so I did not get new stretch marks and the old ones have become white now.

Stretch marks are when your body grows faster than your skin can stretch. So it tears, creating stretch marks. It can be caused by fast growing, weight gain, and muscle increase. There are special creams you can use to help them fade, but, even then, they won't usually go away completely. I wouldn't be too worried about it, stretch marks happen. You aren't overstraining your muscles or anything like that.

Hope that helps. :)
