prom failed but can I still date?

So here's the story, I liked this girl and we used to be friends and talked during art class a year ago. So I asked her to prom this year and she told me that she is going with some1 else, ( idk who presuming; with a group of girls) so do you think I can ask her on a date ? I do not have much time since I am taking fifth year and she is going to university...:P

Yeah just ask her out the worse that can happen is she says no which isn't the end if the world and you never know til you ask

Definitely ask her out, but make sure it is just a group of girls she is going with first, not someone she's dating

Thank you for your response but, my friends tell me that girls have a different way of saying "no" and she actually rejected me for prom by saying " She is going with some1 else." that's why i hesitated in asking her on a date...

She probably did reject you. However it doesn't hurt to ask one last time and make it completely clear rejection won't hurt your feelings and that the reason you are asking her out for a date (not prom) is because you found her last answer to be a bit vague.


But some girls are charmed by persistence and others are majorly annoyed by it and may slap you with a sexual harassment school complaint...risky risky.
