Maybe it will surprise me, but this sounds like a terrrrrrrible idea. I don't see how they could pull this off as a movie without it being cheesy as HELL.

Trying to put an actual plot to a what is not really a complicated idea to begin with - it's convoluting the whole thing. Unless they have plans in the future of making the games into something a lot more complex (which quite frankly, would lose the appeal it already has) - then I don't even see the point.

Probably a bomb at the theater waiting to happen.
